Meets every expectation. We needed to pull from 2500 gallon tank to go between k-line pasture irrigation to high tunnels, and even drop in market garden crops (in multiple combinations and starts/stops) the steady flow is fun just to watch it adjust seamlessly between such extreme demands.

The kit itself is fine and RPS was good enough to send the kit discounted the price of the wire since I had the wire already. The bad part was that the 1-1/4, 300 ft kit came with 160 psi pipe instead of 250 psi pipe which should have been sent with this particular package. I was assured that the 160 psi was adequate for my application but the reason I ordered from them was the peace of mind from using 250 psi pipe. I desperately needed to get water back up so with their reassurance I used what I got sent. Otherwise, the new pump and well are working fine. However, still feel upset and disappointed in the pipe psi error. Sincerely D Bishop
Hey there! We really apologize about the mix up on the pipe, we missed updating that PSI number when we recently swapped over to 160PSI. Rest assured that 1) you were not overcharged for the difference in PSI of the pipe and 2) that 160PSI is more than sufficient for your needs. The way we can prove this to you is using a simple math equation 160 x 2.31 = 369.6 - this number tells us that by multipling 160PSI by the coefficient of 2.31 (which is how we translate how many feet long of 160PSI rated pipe can hang in a well and handle the water weight moving through it) we end up with 369.6 feet of pipe. Meaning, the longest legnth of 160PSI pipe you should use in a well to handle the weight+ pressure at that length is 369.6. And since you're only using 300 feet of pipe, you've got a whole 69.6 feet of additional 'safety room' that isnt being used. I hope this adds to your peace of mind that you are MORE than within the safety bounds of the 160PSI pipe, and it ended up saving you some cash as well:) But we totally understand that the mixup was upsetting(not getting exactly what you ordered off the internet is pretty annoying). If absolutely any issue arises in the future, please contact our customer service(you've got access to them for the lifetime of the system), we will make sure that you are taken care of!

I went through 3 expensive Grundfos pumps, 1 gala1 and 2 gala2.. they leaked after few years for no reasons and costed me 100+ to buy shaft seal to fix but none worked. I tried 2 Italy speroni pumps with pressure tank, pressure controller and they are loud, rumbling, and fluctuating pressure to the point I rather got rid of them, costing 1K+ for these 2 pumps.
Everything works with this pump. It's surprisingly quiet and not louder than my electric phillip razor and toothbrush when running. Like other pumps, a loud kick when it starts but the rumbling is very minimal. It controls pressure very well and simple LCD control, though the LCD display is tiny for other indicators except pressure. Normal operations do not need to control more than these any way. For residential use of portable drinking water pressure, this pump is just right. You don't need to get cheaper or more expensive models
I only hope it lasts and easy to fix for wear and tear.

RPS really made the task of putting in a new well pump simple. I was replacing our old jet pump with a new submersible and there DIY kit was great. Came with everything needed to complete the job with a simple and easy to follow instruction booklet. There customer service was excellent. I had ordered the pump and diy kit online and got a phone call the next day from one of there service members to go over everything and insure that I had ordered the correct pump for my needs. They were extremely helpful in confirming that what I had ordered would work for my home. I would definitely recommend these guys as the product seemed pretty bomber and the customer service was on point!
